We often imagine ourselves to be conscious self-thinking humans, right. That you control your own thoughts, emotions and actions. This is true for the most part, however you're subjected to a sort of mental intoxication from media and entertainment like all of us. Not all of it is bad ofcourse, but some modern normalized habits do cause negative thinking. I believe there is no doubt about that. Look at the statistics, more and more people are becoming addicted to pills created by the government. To numb symptoms of depression and anxiety. We are constantly seeking to liberate our minds through consumption, never realizing that true freedom is attained through purpose.
When you have a clear purpose and strategy of where to go in life, you begin to think more positive thoughts. You take complete power of your mind, destiny and no longer allow unconscious habits to dictate your actions. Like a stream of consciousness you create the reality you want without having doubts about the past, present or future.
This leads me to the first imporant part of the blog.
The Flow State
Presence of mind and positive thinking is created in the "flow state". After studying the subject, and experiencing flow on a daily basis I can experience the freedom flow creates. The flow state can be achieved in many different ways, but the most effective ones I believe are the following.
Listen to music.
Create music.
Physical training and sports.
Deep creative work.
Study a book.
Walk in nature.
Meditation.
Yoga.
Genuine relationships.
There are ofcourse many other ways to enter the flow state. But these were just some examples of activities that will create a flow state. And the feeling of flow is awesome, I feel like all fears vanish and my mind, body and soul work as one. Even though sometimes tedious work is required to perform before the flow state is accessed. But once you create the flow state experience: you will want to stay there longer. Because the flow state is awesome, it's complete presence of mind and effortless creativity.
Athletes experience the flow state when they exercise, painter experience flow when they paint, writers experience flow when they write and so on. There is a wide range of creative fields avaliable to purposefully pursue.
When you begin to improve at a skill you will inevitable experience failure, setbacks and challenges along the way. That is only natural. To develop a positive mindset and create a positive thinking pattern you have to train your mind and body to overcome challenges. Everytime you succeed with a task, quest or challenge, your confidence level rise and new inspiration appear in the mind.
Have a Strategy and Goals.
It's much easier to succeed with developing a positive lifestyle, attitude toward life and a mindset that promote positive thinking. When you have a clear strategy, and goals that guide you along the way to success, happiness and freedom.
It is according to my belief that we are all gifted with a unique purpose. You have to find that purpose and then strategically create in real life and not waste time. Happiness and positive thoughts are earned through patient work and self reflection.
Have a clear vision and strategy, and manifest the vision into reality with patient work.
