Develop The 50 Cent Hustlers Mindset.

What you can learn from the rapper and successful entrepreneur 50 Cent, is that with the hustlers mentality, as long as you stay consistent toward improvement, success is inevitable. The knowledge in this blogpost was gained from listening to the audiobook "Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter" by 50 Cent.

Develop The 50 Cent Hustlers Mindset

After listening to the audiobook "Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter" by 50 Cent, I began taking a new approach toward work. The hustler mindset simply means that you wake up each day and do the work. You move with a sense of urgency to get things done, you don't procrastinate anymore and begin to actively create the life you want. In 50 Cents book, he explains his daily ritual of waking up early, going to the gym and then "hustles" for many hours everyday. With rock solid discipline and intensified focus, anything in life is possible and 50 Cent proves it. He grew up fatherless and his mother past away when he was seven years old. He grew up in a poor neighborhood in Queens, but still managed to become a rap star, mega successful entrepreneur and a multi millionaire. If he could succeed, so can you!

It all boils down to your hunger, your daily rituals and your ability to work past emotional resistance with a clear aim in mind of where you are going to end up in life. With a clear vision you become unstoppable. I would recommend copying 50 Cents ritual in life, wake up early and do some exercising. Then, work with intense focus for long periods of time everyday, eat healthy and drink plenty of water, stay sober and avoid drugs. After reading 50 Cents book, I realized that there are a few things that separates him from most other rappers and entrepreneurs.

He stays sober

You'll hear rap songs where 50 Cent talks about smoking weed and taking drugs, but it's only a rap persona. In actuality, 50 Cent has never smoked weed, taken drugs and he rarely drinks. He stays fully sober, eats healthy food, mostly salads and drinks plenty of water everyday. This gives him a massive advantage and clarity of mind. Most rappers smoke weed everyday and depend on being high, to have the creativity to write songs. However, staying fully sober will always generate better results longterm.

He has discipline

In the book he explains that, even if he has been working for twenty hours in a row, he still hits the gym, then sleeps for three hours and wakes up to hustle early morning the next day. This discipline is extreme, but probably required if you want to succeed at a high level. 50 Cent doesn't hit snooze, he doesn't procrastinate and he doesn't complain about feeling tired or bored from time to time. He gets the work done, no matter of what his emotional self tells him.

"I got the energy to win, i'm filled with adrenaline" - Hustlers Ambition, 50 Cent.

He's doesn't fear failure.

50 Cent takes massive action without the fear of failure. This is probably duo to the fact that he has already experienced so much fear as a young child, he grew up fatherless and got shot nine times and still survived. So the fear of success or failure is nothing in comparison to what he has already experienced in life. He doesn't let the emotional response of fear rule his decision in life. He thinks strategically and rationally where he wants to go in life, and then takes action toward that vision.

He is calm and has plenty of stamina.

To achieve goals in life we cannot feel lethargic, depressed or anxious. These emotional states drains us from energy while feeling present minded makes us more energized both mentally and emotionally. The reason to why 50 Cent have so much stamina, is because he lifts heavy weights and punches the boxing bag every morning, drinks plenty of water and eats healthy. Doing these things makes him calm, energized and present to the moment. Developing high levels of energy, really boils down to your daily habits! It's easier to feel motivated to work, when your entire physiology feels good and energetic.
